I want to thank every single person who has shown interest in Forge of Legends. The number of passionate TTRPG players and performers who have taken the time to submit an audition has exceeded my expectations. I am absolutely blown away by the enthusiasm for this project.
Where We Are in the Process
We are currently deep into the recruitment process, and I’m thrilled to share that I’ve begun the first round of interviews. It has been an absolute pleasure to speak with some incredibly talented individuals, both professional actors and passionate D&D enthusiasts alike. The creativity and passion that you all bring to the table is inspiring, and I would be honored to roll dice with every single one of you.
While I’ve started interviews, there are still many more auditions for me to review. Once I’ve had the chance to complete the first round of interviews, the next step will be to schedule play sessions with a group of candidates to see how the chemistry between players develops—a crucial part of building the perfect cast for Forge of Legends.
Next Steps
As we move forward, here’s what to expect:
I plan to complete the review of auditions, conduct first-round interviews, and start the first play sessions over the next three weeks.
From there, I may hold another round of interviews to fine-tune the selection.
By October, I hope to have the final cast in place.
Applications Open Until September 15
For those of you who are still considering applying, the good news is that applications remain open until midnight Pacific Time on September 15. There’s still time to submit your audition and be part of something truly special!
Looking Ahead
Even if you aren’t selected for the core cast, there will be plenty of opportunities ahead. We’ll have guest roles within this campaign, and I foresee even more opportunities for future podcasts. So, if you’ve applied or are still considering applying, stay excited, stay engaged—there could be many ways to collaborate down the road.

I truly can’t say enough about the level of talent, dedication, and love for the game I’ve seen from each submission. This project has become something bigger than I imagined, and it’s thanks to all of you. I’m incredibly appreciative of everyone’s efforts and honored that you’re interested in being part of Forge of Legends.
