I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you again for your incredible interest and passion in Forge of Legends! The auditions have been nothing short of amazing, and I’m thrilled to give you an update on where we are in the casting process—and what comes next.
Current Status: Nearing the Finish Line
We’re almost there! I’ve been hard at work reviewing the hundreds of auditions, and I’m now 80% of the way through. The level of creativity and enthusiasm I’ve seen from each submission has blown me away. It’s been a challenge narrowing down such a talented pool of applicants, but by the end of this week, I’ll have completed the audition review and will begin sending out interview requests.
What’s Next: Interviews and Play Sessions
As we move into the next phase, here’s what’s happening:
Interviews will start the week of September 30, and I aim to complete them by October 11. This will narrow the field to about 24 players.
From there, I’ll organize these 24 players into four groups of six and run some play sessions! These one-shots will help narrow the group even further as we work toward selecting the final 8 cast members.
And here’s an exciting possibility: If the players agree, I’m hoping to post the play sessions so that you—the Members of the Royal Order of Good Cheer—can help weigh in on the final cast. I’d love to hear your thoughts as we build this legendary team!

September 27: Complete the audition reviews.
Week of September 30: Begin interviews.
October 11: Finish interviews and select the first 24 players.
October onwards: Play sessions and the final march toward our final 8 cast members!

Every audition and interview has filled me with excitement and appreciation for this amazing community. If you don’t receive an interview request, don’t be discouraged. There may still be opportunities as we work through the final selection process. Finding the right mix of chemistry, charisma, and collaboration is no easy task—it’s a delicate balance that takes time to find.
