The Forge of Legends casting call has officially closed, and I want to take a moment to thank everyone who submitted and showed interest in this project. This journey has been nothing short of incredible, and I’m excited to share what’s next!
Reflecting on the Process
The response has been absolutely amazing. The creativity, passion, and enthusiasm in every submission have been beyond what I could have imagined. From professional actors to dedicated D&D players, the talent that came forward has been staggering. The D&D Nerdverse is truly alive and thriving, and I wish I could create fifty podcasts just to give everyone their moment in the spotlight.
Next Steps
Now that the casting call is closed, here’s a look at what’s coming next:
Interviews: I’ve already completed some interviews, but I’ll be spending the next two weeks finishing up the first round.
Play Sessions: After the interviews are completed, I’ll be scheduling group play sessions for early October. These sessions will help me see how the chemistry between players unfolds, which is crucial for creating a strong, dynamic cast.
Final Cast Selection: By mid-October, I hope to finalize the cast. Once that’s done, we’ll dive into planning the podcast schedule and sharing updates on when Forge of Legends will officially go live.
Communication with All Applicants
Regardless of the outcome, I want to assure everyone who applied that you’ll be hearing from me. Whether or not you made it to the next round, I will communicate with each of you personally, so stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks.

While Forge of Legends is the focus for now, this is just the beginning. I have several other campaigns and podcast ideas in the pipeline, which means there will be future opportunities—both for cast and guest roles. Once we get the rhythm of Forge of Legends settled, we’ll be looking ahead to the next project.
